She feeds the fire with water
She swims in the deep woods
She moves while standing still
She sees beyond man’s words
She glides into the in-between
She flies with hawks and eagles
She rides with ancient aurochs
She sleeps beneath the mud –

And they all come to her for sustenance
And they all bring her sacred offerings
And they all see the fiery glow inside her
And they all pray for liberation
And they all feel the truth unwinding
As they eat her red, red berries
To disconjure the fleshly illusions
Of an evaporating world.
